Fred and Linda Harteis have mentored me for 20 years.  In all of my world travels, (and I have met some wonderful people), I have never met another couple who by their own example, set the standard so high.  Many people have high standards in a few areas of life, but Fred and Linda set the benchmark as business examples in their personal and spiritual life and in the relationship that a married couple from any walk of life would admire.  I know they have mentored thousands of people over the years, but I will always be grateful for the example they have set for me as an individual person. 

Friends tell you what you want to hear; mentors tell you what you need to hear in order to become better.  Fred has told me many things over the years that were difficult to hear.  But in applying the principals that he taught me, I have learned the more we stretch, the better we become.  One of the greatest insights Fred has ever shared with me is that the definition of character is defined by what we do when no one is watching.  It is what we do when no one is watching that determines whether we have character or not.  Fred and Linda Harteis, both myself and my family we will be indebted to you always.
